BIG NEWS!! (fundraising update)

Hey people of God! 

HUGE announcement!! I am officially FULLY FUNDED for the World Race! This is such big God moment and I am so incredibly grateful for the Lord’s provision. Fundraising has been a huge learning process for me. Before I decided to go on the Race, finances were a huge factor that were holding me back from choosing to go. As I prayed about it more and more, the Lord gave me more truth revolving finances in general. I remember sharing my concerns about finances to my friend Anjali who did the race in 2020, and she gave me the best piece of advice she possibly could have: “If the Lord is calling you somewhere, He is going to provide all of the resources necessary for you to go.” Even money?? I thought. Yes, even money. If the Lord can provide anything, that also means that He is going to provide $15,800 for me to travel the world and share His love to the nations, if that is what He has called me to. So, I stepped out in faith that the Lord was going to provide that amount of money that is huge in my eyes, but so small in His. Well, here I am 10 months after beginning fundraising with $15,800 in my fundraising dashboard, with SO MUCH MORE faith in the Lord’s provision!! 

 

You know what is also so cool?! You ALL got to be a part of that! Your generosity and obedience to the Lord in freely giving what He has freely given you has enabled me to live the life I am living now, sharing His love in many different and unique ways. The Lord has shown His goodness, generosity, provision, and grace to me through each and every one of you guys. Every day I walk here I can tell is lavished in prayer from people thousands of miles away from me. Every day I walk here was made possible by your obedience to the Lord in helping me reach this goal. It really has been a beautiful process. The Lord has revealed Himself to me as provider in SO MANY ways since February, and this is just one of them. 

 

Thank you all SO MUCH for your constant support. No matter the size of your donation or the amount of prayers said, they have all made a huge difference. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for each of you! Your generosity encourages me. It encourages me to be more willing to freely give others what the Lord has given me. You have all displayed to me another beautiful side of the Lord’s character through your giving, prayers, and intentionality in reaching out to me as I have been away. I pray that this news of the Lord’s provision through you encourages you in whatever season of life that you are currently in. I pray that this produces a deeper dependency on the Lord in you as you hear about His faithfulness! He is the same provider for me as He is for you, even if that looks a little different for you. Praise God that we serve the same God even in such different locations!

I love hearing from you all. Also, be praying that the Lord would make a way for my parents to be able to come on the Parent Vision Trip in March. PVT is an opportunity that we have to invite our parents into seeing what our life on the mission field looks like for 5 days in Eswatini. The odds that my parents will be able to come are near impossible in my eyes, but I know that the Lord will make a way if it is His will for them to be there. I greatly appreciate your prayers especially in this area! 

 

Lastly, Adventures in Missions is currently transferring our blog sites over to a new platform. We haven’t been given the new platforms yet, but this transition should be happening in the near future. I am still waiting on more details, but I just wanted to let you all know of this, because it might be hard to publish blogs for a few weeks. If you don’t hear from me, that’s why!
